They're also running a $240 "cash back" offer, but that requires $1,300+ in direct deposits each month, and for 6 months. How To Earn The Bonus

The HSBC Advance promotion requires you to set up direct deposits in order to earn the $200 bonus.

Full requirements to receive this bonus are:

1. Open a new HSBC Advance checking account using the link below.
2. Starting from the second full calendar month after account opening, have recurring direct deposits totaling $500 for 3 consecutive months.
3. The bonus will be credited to your account about 8 weeks after meeting requirements.

The fine print
