December 6, 2023Tried to open this account just now and the interface wouldn't allow me to open it online. Says I have to come to a branch with two forms of ID even though the online application only asks for one. I am HUNDREDS of miles from the nearest branch and, if I went in anyway, the bonus drops to $600 from $800. Feels like a bait-and-switch unless they sort it out, which didn't sound promising from the person I was working with on the phone.

November 15, 2023I would love to establish a banking relationship with Huntington National Bank, but the requirement for this promotion is a little too steep for me to swallow. So, for now, I will wait and hope for a better Huntington National Bank promotion.

November 15, 2023It appears that the bonus has been increased to $800 a couple of weeks back for depositing 25k in direct deposit and the bonus is valid till Dec 22. It's a good one to grab if you are in the area of presence as the bank is good with payout and tracking of the bonus conditions
